Rev. Dr. Joshua Siu was born and educated in Hong Kong. After graduation, he built a career in industrial production management and quality control as well as assurance management at various companies. In 1991, he migrated to Los Angeles with his wife and two children. In 2001, he responded to the Lord’s calling and went into full-time ministry. He served as pastor of Cantonese congregation at First Chinese Baptist Church, Los Angeles. Now he is serving as the Director of Theological Education by Extension and Adjunct Professor at China Evangelical Seminary North America, overseeing the extension programs and teaches Practical Theology. Dr. Joshua Siu graduated from China Evangelical Seminary North America with a Master of Christian Studies and a Master of Divinity, and a Doctor of Ministry at Biola University, Talbot School of Theology, his doctoral dissertation is: Raising Up New Leaders in Chinese Churches in North America.
