Professional interests include comparative study of Chinese and American culture and education, CFL (Chinese-as-a-Foreign-Language) teaching in America, designing and evaluation of college CFL program and curriculum, and ESL (English-as-a-Second-Language) instruction and teaching strategies in China. Personal interests include different languages and cultures, music, ethnic foods, cooking, gardening, and spending family time together.
